Our History
Emirates Innovation Center
The Emirates Innovation Center was established in 2009, with the founder’s aim to maintain mutual rewarding relationships with all its stakeholders, like investors, clients, partners, research professionals, inventors, entrepreneurs and students.
To appreciate how and more importantly why EIC was created, it is important to understand the motivations that drive the founders of EIC who wanted to create an ambitious international organization for knowledge development, research program management, responsible technology and education & training. Benchmarking studies showed that there is a gap in such vehicles at local and regional levels. In conjunction with the UAE’s and regional SWFs’ and other funds’ range of investments, such a vehicle could be used at international level to be part of and reinforce the global innovation networks.
