The lives of urban youth are often dominated by the need to find productive work, yet labour markets are often unfavourable towards youth employment. The role of formal education in gaining employment is evident but not straight forward. Youth unemployment may often affect the more highly educated youth. The YIC will provide young people with a platform that encourages creativity and dares them to dream about a future they can create as we build a culture of innovation.
